At Black Oak Furniture, we specialize in bespoke, handcrafted furniture. By placing an order, you agree to the following legally binding terms:
1. Handcrafted & Customization Disclaimer
- Manual Craftsmanship: Since our furniture is handcrafted and customized, minor variations in design, texture, and wood grain are expected.
- Measurement Tolerance: A difference of 1 to 2 inches in dimensions (length, width, or height) is possible due to the nature of handmade manufacturing. We are not liable for these minor variations, and they do not qualify for returns or refunds.
2. Production & Delivery Timeline
- Estimated Time: Our average production and delivery cycle is 2 to 3 working weeks.
- Extended Timelines: Please note that this is an estimate, not a guarantee. Depending on the complexity of the design, material availability, or high order volume, delivery may take longer than the estimated period.
- No Cancellation for Delays: Any delay in delivery shall not be grounds for order cancellation, refund, or any claim for damages or mental stress.
3. No-Return & Final Sale Policy
- Bespoke Nature: All products are manufactured specifically to your requirements. Therefore, all sales are Final.
- Non-Returnable: We do not offer returns or refunds for "change of mind" or if the product does not fit your space. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure dimensions fit their entryways.
4. Order Cancellation & 25% Processing Fee
- In-Process Orders: An order cannot be cancelled once it has entered the production phase.
- Non-Refundable Fee: If a cancellation is requested before dispatch, a 25% Non-Refundable Processing Fee will be deducted from the total order value to cover material procurement and labor costs.
5. Damage & Inspection Protocol (MANDATORY)
- Mandatory Unboxing Video: The customer MUST record a continuous, unedited video while unboxing. Without this video, no damage claims will be entertained.
- Reporting Window: Major structural damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
- Minor Damages: Minor surface scratches, paint rubbing, or fabric scuffs are considered normal in heavy furniture logistics and are not eligible for claims.
6. Resolution (Repair & Replacement)
- No Cash Refunds: We only offer Free Repair or Replacement for verified major structural damage. No cash refunds will be issued.
- Return Shipment: The customer must send the article back to our facility at their own cost for any valid repair claim. We will bear the redelivery cost.
7. Limitation of Liability
- Our maximum financial liability is strictly limited to the actual amount paid for the product. We are not liable for any indirect loss, consequential damages, or mental stress.
